Who we are
This site is run by Signal Advisory LLC, trading as SignalToValue. This policy explains what we collect when you join the Aperture waitlist and visit this site.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the time you signed up, and whether you confirmed it. We also store basic visit details: your approximate location (country, region and city, worked out from your connection), your device type, browser and operating system, your browser language and time zone, the page and campaign that brought you here, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. To tell people from automated scripts, the sign-up form also runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check, which looks at your IP address and some browser details. We do not store the browser details, and the only form of your IP address we keep is the scrambled version described above.
Why we collect it
We use your email to confirm your signup and to tell you when Aperture opens up. We use the visit details to understand which audiences and channels reach us, and to detect abuse such as automated signups.
Who processes it
We use Supabase to store the data, Resend to send email, Netlify to host this site and run the signup service, and Cloudflare to run the bot check (Turnstile) on the sign-up form. They process data on our behalf, and Cloudflare also applies its own privacy terms to the bot check.
How long we keep it
Signups that are not confirmed within 30 days are deleted. Hashed IP addresses are removed after 12 months. Confirmed emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we don't contact you again. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove that entry too.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing us.
